Allie's second husband is killed tragically when his 18-wheeler crashes into the rocks near their home in Cape San Blas--the tanker was full of fuel and the explosion could be seen on overhead satellites. She'd already lost the beloved waterfront restaurant her parents started and now losing her husband, no matter how unfulfilling their marriage was, might just push her over the edge.

Politics and Our Christian Faith

As a faith community we look at the world and all its happenings, knowing that much of it needs to be addressed by the church and pastor. Yet, somehow, when it comes to our nation's politics we hesitate, afraid of adding to a division that has become so prevalent.

This summer, share a sandwich with members of our church family, and be part of an issue-based conversation where we will explore the intersection of politics and faith, government policy and Christian teachings.

Authentic Spiritual Conversations

We're excited to announce a new program being launched this month, Authentic Spiritual Conversations (ASC for short). It is a program spear-headed by our very own Rick Bowers and Nelle Moffet as an effort to reach people who don't feel safe to explore their spirituality within the boundaries of organized religion.

Trained facilitators and leaders are needed for ASC. We welcome anyone who is willing to be part of this program.

Coffee and Conversation meets the 2nd & 4th Mondays of each month from 10:00 to 11:30am in a CRR Classroom—next to the main office, located just down the hall from the office entrance. For those joining remotely, meetings are also accessible via Zoom.
