We are getting closer to our goal ... which was to raise $75,000 from congregational contributions! The rest (we hope) will come from Federal and State grants, also totaling $75,000.
Of our $75K we have received or received pledges for $44.799 or 60% of our goal. To help make up the difference of $30,201, a group has come together and committed $10,000 as a matching fund. So if you want to give the cost of one panel $775, it will become two. If you want to give half a panel $388, it will cover the cost of a whole panel.
If you'd like to give five panels $3,874, it will cover the cost of 10. If you want to give $100, it will become $200!!! Up to $10,000.
You may send checks (marked solar fund), give online ... be sure to let Lynn Schreiner know it is for Solar, or make a pledge that will be paid by the end of the summer. You may give in honor of or in memory of someone....or not. In honor of the earth.
Thank you to all who have given .... for being part of responding to the call upon The Church of the Red Rocks to help minimize the impact on our environment.
