Congregational Care (CCM)

The purpose of this Ministry shall be the responsibility for supporting the spiritual and social nurture of the Congregation.
Faith in Action Ministry (FIAM)
Co-Chairs: Steve Canipe & Jan Wells
“Be the Church: Extend the reach of Christ to a world that needs grace, kindness and justice.”
The purpose of this ministry is to provide an action-oriented way of living our faith. To that end, the mission of the Faith in Action Ministry is to “be the church” by extending the reach of Christ to a world that needs grace, kindness, and justice.
Finance, Endowment, Administration Ministry (FEAM)
Chair: Susan Buffum
“As stewards, we value the gifts that God gives us and seek to use them wisely in support of CRR’s mission and vision.”
- Finance: The purpose of this ministry is to oversee all receipts and expenditures of money donated to or otherwise received by the Church as well as all other aspects of the Church’s finances exclusive of the funds managed by the Endowment Management Committee.
- Endowment: The purpose of the endowment funds of the Church of the Red Rocks is to provide perpetual financial support for the work of the Church, broadly defined.
- Administration: The purpose of this committee is to oversee all staff and clergy, their functions and their relationship to the Congregation in close cooperation with the Senior Pastor.
Growth and Outreach Ministry
Chair: Karen Stupak and Marcia Byrd
“Empowered by the Holy Spirit, we are open and affirming, engaging all ages and traditions in the shared experience of spiritual growth.”
The purpose of this Ministry shall be to inspire the members of the Church to be messengers through living out the gospel of God’s extravagant love. This Ministry represents what we do to grow our membership and our influence; how we interface with the wider community and other faith communities.
Property Management Ministry (PMM)
Co-Chairs: Michael Redhawk & Bob Wych

The purpose of this Ministry shall be to plan and supervise the care, maintenance and use of the Church building and grounds and the included property.
Spiritual Growth & Education Ministry (SGEM)
Chair: Sara Johnson
“By deepening our relationship with God, we learn what God calls us to do.”
The purpose of this Ministry shall be to plan, direct and evaluate Christian education for adults, youth and children, including assisting the Clergy in administering a well-rounded program of Christian development.
Worship and Music Ministry (WMM)
“God’s grace lifts our hearts in Story, Song, and Spirit.”
The purpose of this Ministry shall be to assist and support the Clergy in the spiritual affairs of the Church, specifically striving to enhance worship and music.
