Our Pastor
Rev. Dr. Guillermo Márquez-Sterling

Senior Pastor
Pastor G, as many of us call him, has been in the ministry since 1997 and in that time has served at three churches. He loves the work of God within the context of the church community, because “real transformation is in the communal work of the people.”
His education includes a Doctorate of Ministry, Chicago Theological Seminary; Masters of Divinity, South Florida Center for Theological Studies; Masters of Public Administration and Bachelor of Arts in English, Florida International University.
He has authored several publications, “Praying for an Eclipse: A Trilogy” (Black Rose Writing, Castroville, TX); “The Rise of the Spiritual Activist” (Westbow Press, Bloomington, IN). His latest book is Killing the Butterfly: A Cuban Memoir of Democracy’s Demise.
He and Maria, his wife of 37 years, have three adult children.
