Throughout the year, the Church of the Red Rocks offers FREE public performances on Sunday in their sanctuary, either during a service, between services or later in the day or evening. Sometimes the afternoon or evening performances have a small entrance fee, with a reduced or no-charge fee for students.
These "Mini-Concerts" have featured performances by NAU School of Music Ensembles, regional and visiting professional Chamber Choirs, the Red Rock Barbershop Quartet, and many others.
Special Music opportunities at the Church of the Red Rocks are available throughout the year!
Musicians of all types (instrumental and vocal) are invited to participate in worship services at the Church of the Red Rocks by providing Special Music during one or both Sunday morning services.
There have been frequent performances by vocal soloists and ensembles as well as string, woodwind, brass and keyboard and guitar instrumentalists.
If you are interested in providing Special Music for a Sunday worship services, we'd love to hear from you; please email the Church Choir Director, Ryan Holder, at ryan.holder@nau.edu or phone the church at 282-7963.
