Let's Talk About
Healthy Aging!

nih senior healthcare
We all do it -- if we're lucky. And that is we all age, but the goal is to age gracefully and with as good health as possible.

It can be done, with with the right resources and assistance. Here's a great place to start on that path -- or to help someone start on that path:

The National Institutes of Health (NIH) is the nation’s medical research agency, supporting scientific studies that turn discovery into health. Their senior health information is among the most reliable and complete that you will find anywhere, and on just about every subject of "senior health" possible.

This easy-to-use website features basic health and wellness information that has many helpful features for the senior citizen:

  • all information is arranged alphabetically or by basic health categories for easy discovery,
  • buttons at the top of each page can make the text bigger,
  • buttons at the top of each page can change the text color for easier reading,
  • and you have the option of hearing the text read aloud.
